Convert your Lovable website to WordPress

I convert Lovable websites to WordPress. Send me your GitHub link or the exported ZIP, and I rebuild the design in Elementor or Bricks so you can edit it without code, then launch it on your own domain.

You send
Your GitHub link or the ZIP, plus the live Lovable link.
You get
The same design as a WordPress site you can edit without code. Packages from $150.

What a Lovable export actually is

Lovable builds a React project, using TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components. It's a working app, not a folder of pages, so it can't be uploaded to WordPress as it is.

That's why "converting" a Lovable site means rebuilding the design inside WordPress. The look carries over. The code doesn't.

Getting your code out of Lovable

  • GitHub. Connect your project to a GitHub repository. This is available on every plan, and it's the route I prefer because I can see how the project is built.
  • ZIP download. A one-off copy of the code. This is limited to paid plans, so check Lovable's current plan page, since plans change.

Either one works for me. Don't worry if you're not sure how: tell me where you're stuck and I'll walk you through it.

What the export leaves behind

  • Your database content. If your project uses a backend such as Supabase, the data isn't in the code.
  • Secret keys and settings. Environment variables aren't exported and have to be set up again where they're needed.
  • Your Lovable address. The project keeps its own lovable.app address until you move your domain.

If your site relies on logins or stored data, that part is an app, not a page. I rebuild the marketing pages in WordPress and I'll tell you before quoting if the rest needs a different kind of developer.

Why SEO is a good reason to move

Many Lovable projects are single-page apps. They send a nearly empty HTML file and draw the page in the visitor's browser. Google can often read that, but other crawlers and the preview cards on social apps often can't.

Check yours in 30 seconds

Open your live page and press Ctrl + U. Search for your main headline in the source. If it isn't there, the page is drawn in the browser. A WordPress page sends the text, the page title and the description in the page itself.

What carries over and what needs a decision

What happens to each part of a Lovable site
Part of your siteWhat happens
Layout, colours, fontsMatched section by section in Elementor or Bricks.
Tailwind classes and shadcn/ui componentsRebuilt as Elementor or Bricks styles. The classes themselves don't carry over.
AnimationsKept if they're simple. I tell you what gets dropped.
Contact formsRebuilt so they send to your email.
Logins, database, paymentsNot converted. That's the app part.

Moving without losing your search traffic

If your Lovable site is already live and getting visitors, the move shouldn't throw that away. Two habits protect you.

Keep your page addresses the same wherever you can, so /about stays /about. Redirect any that change so old links, bookmarks and search results land on the right new page.

Send me your live link and I'll list the addresses that exist today before I plan the rebuild.

What to send me

You don't need to tidy anything first. Send what you have and I'll tell you what's missing.

  • Your GitHub link, or the ZIP
  • The live Lovable link, so I can compare my rebuild to it
  • A list of the pages you want on the new site
  • Your domain and hosting logins, or a note that you need both

How a conversion runs

  1. Send your project

The code, the ZIP or a GitHub link, plus a note of which pages matter.

  2. Get a plan and a quote

Which builder, which pages, what needs fixing, and the price, before any work starts.

  3. Review the rebuild

You see it before it goes live and tell me what to change.

  4. Launch and hand-over

Hosting, domain, SSL and hand-over included, so it's live on your own address.

Questions people ask

Do I need a paid Lovable plan?

Not for GitHub, which is available on every plan. A ZIP download needs a paid plan, so GitHub is usually the easier route. Check Lovable's current plans, since they change.

Will I lose my Lovable project?

No. Exporting doesn't remove it. Keep it as a backup, but changes you make in Lovable later won't flow into the WordPress site.

Will the WordPress site look the same?

Yes. I match layout, spacing, colours and type section by section. If something is broken or not responsive, I fix it during the rebuild and tell you.

What about my Supabase data?

Data isn't part of the code export. If the site only shows content, I move the content across. If it depends on stored data or user accounts, I'll tell you honestly what that needs.

Can I just connect my own domain to Lovable instead?

Lovable can connect a custom domain on its paid plans, so that's an option if all you need is your own address. Choose WordPress if you want to edit visually or run the site on hosting you control.
