Convert your v0 website to WordPress
I convert v0 websites to WordPress. Send me the ZIP or GitHub link from v0, and I rebuild the design in Elementor or Bricks so you can edit it without code, then launch it on your own hosting and domain.
- You send
- The ZIP or GitHub link from v0, plus the preview link.
- You get
- The same design as a WordPress site you can edit without code. Packages from $150.
What v0 gives you
v0, from Vercel, generates React code. It's usually a Next.js project built with Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui components. That's a modern web app, not a set of pages that WordPress can read.
The design is the valuable part, and that's what I carry over. The code gets rebuilt in a form WordPress can edit.
Why you can't just upload it to your hosting
Next.js projects usually need a Node server to run, which is what Vercel provides. Ordinary hosting with cPanel runs PHP, and that's what WordPress runs on. Uploading the project files there doesn't give you a working site.
So there are two real choices: keep it on Vercel with your own domain, or rebuild it in WordPress. I'll tell you honestly which suits you better.
Is yours a page or an app?
This decides whether a WordPress rebuild is the right move.
A good fit for WordPress
- A landing page or marketing site
- A portfolio or services site
- A blog or content site
- A page you want to update yourself
Probably not a fit
- A dashboard with user accounts
- Anything that stores or reads data
- Payments or subscriptions
- A tool that runs calculations in the browser
If you're in the second group, I'll say so before I quote. Parts of it, like the marketing pages, can still move to WordPress.
Getting your code out of v0
- Download as a ZIP from the project menu in v0.
- Push it to GitHub if you've connected your account.
Either works for me. I'll also ask for the v0 preview link so I can match the design against it.
What carries over and what needs a decision
| Part of your site | What happens |
|---|---|
| Layout, colours, fonts | Matched section by section in Elementor or Bricks. |
| Tailwind styling | Rebuilt as Elementor or Bricks styles. The look carries over, the class names don't. |
| shadcn/ui components | Rebuilt as normal sections, buttons and cards you can edit. |
| Animations and effects | Kept if they're simple. I tell you what gets dropped. |
| Forms | Rebuilt so they send to your email. |
| Server actions, API routes, database | Not converted. That's the app part. |
What about keeping Next.js and using WordPress behind it?
It's possible. WordPress holds the content and your Next.js front end shows it, which is called a headless setup. It keeps your v0 code, but it's a developer project with two systems to host and maintain, and it isn't a visual-editor workflow.
That isn't what I offer. If it sounds like what you need, I'll say so and point you the right way instead of selling you a rebuild.
What to send me
You don't need to tidy anything first. Send what you have and I'll tell you what's missing.
- The ZIP or GitHub link from v0
- The v0 preview link, so I can compare my rebuild to it
- A list of the pages you want on the new site
- Your domain and hosting logins, or a note that you need both
How a conversion runs
-
Send your project
The code, the ZIP or a GitHub link, plus a note of which pages matter.
-
Get a plan and a quote
Which builder, which pages, what needs fixing, and the price, before any work starts.
-
Review the rebuild
You see it before it goes live and tell me what to change.
-
Launch and hand-over
Hosting, domain, SSL and hand-over included, so it's live on your own address.
Questions people ask
Can I upload my v0 project to cPanel hosting?
Not usually. A Next.js project typically needs a Node server, and cPanel hosting runs PHP. That's why a WordPress rebuild or staying on Vercel are the realistic options.
Will the Tailwind styling survive?
The look does. I match spacing, colours and type in Elementor or Bricks. The Tailwind class names themselves don't carry over, because WordPress builders don't use them.
Should I stay on Vercel instead?
Possibly. If you're comfortable with code and don't need a visual editor, keeping the project on Vercel with your own domain is simpler. I'd choose WordPress when you want to edit visually or run the site on hosting you control.
Do I need a Vercel account?
No. I only need the ZIP or the GitHub link, plus the preview link if you have one.
Can I keep making changes in v0 afterwards?
Once the site is rebuilt in WordPress, edits happen in WordPress. Changes you make in v0 later don't flow into it, so decide up front which one is the master copy.
